Sprouts of dals and nuts are full of amino acids, the base units of protein . Amino acids and building blocks of our body. When the sprouts generated, the protein then changes to amino acids and so sprouts are easily digestible ,thus giving us nutrients, energy for the requirements of our body.

Here I have used sprouts of green moong dal and kala chana ( buta). Used the available ingredients at my house in the village, I am staying. My all family members loved and relished the sprouts masala.

  • 1 cupgreen moong sprouts
  • 1/3 cupkala chana( chickpeas) sprouts
  • 1/2 cupgrated coconut
  • 2tomatoes chopped
  • 10papads roasted
  • 1medium onion chopped
  • 3green chilli finely chopped
  • 3 raw mango chopped
  • 1 tbsplemon juice
  • 1 tspchat masala
  • 1 tsproasted cumin powder
  • 3/4 tspsalt

    Mix the sprouts, with all the ingredients. (except papad)

    Arrange 2 table spoons the prepared sprouts mixture on papads and serve.

    *This sprouts masala with papad could be crushed and mix with murmura to prepare mouthwatering jhalmudhui.
