Ingredients

  1. 1 glassbasmati rice
  2. 4boiled eggs
  3. 5Onion thinly sliced
  4. 1 tspGinger garlic paste
  5. 1green chilli
  6. 2 tspcoriander leaves
  7. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  8. 1/2 tspkashmiri red chilli powder
  9. 1/2 tspgaram masala
  10. 2-3 tspShahi biryani masala
  11. 3 tbspCurd
  12. 1black Cardamom
  13. 1bay leaf
  14. 2green Cardamom
  15. 2cloves
  16. 2cinnamon sticks
  17. 1 tbspbutter
  18. As neededwater
  19. pinchSaffron strands dissolved in water
  20. 2-3 dropsRose essence
  21. 1tomato chopped finely

Steps

    Take a kadhai. Add some oil let it be hot and then add half onions and fry it till it changes to brown colour. Take it out and keep it aside. Take 4 boiled eggs, prick it with fork and now sprinkle salt, red chilli powder and turmeric powder in eggs and keep it for 10 mins after 10 mins fry it.

    Now in the same kadhai add some more oil. When oil is hot add all dry garam masala in it. Let it cook in oil for 1 min and then add remaining onions in it. Once the onions starts changing colour add green chilli and ginger garlic paste in it. After some time add tomato in it. Once the tomatoes are cooked properly add turmeric powder, Redchilli Powder, garammasala and shahi biryani masala in it and mix it properly add some coriander leaves in it. Switch off the gas.

    Now transfer the masala in pressure cooker and add curd to it. Mix properly meanwhile wash the rice properly and keep it aside. Now switch on the gas and mix all masala and cook in low flame for 2-3 mins. Add 1 glass water and salt in the masala and mix it. Now place 2 eggs in bottom of the pressure cooker and spread the half fried onions and then rice on top of it and then again put the remaining eggs on top of it. Put some coriander leaves, fried onions on the top. Add melted butter.

    Now add saffron milk on the top and little garam masala on it. Now add remaining 1/4 glass of water in the pressure cooker and put the lid on the pressure cooker. Cook it for 2 whistles in high flame. Switch off the gas and let it cool properly and serve it with salad and raita.
