Take a pan and add 1/4 cup sugar, cook it on medium heat.. When it melts stir slowly for 30-40 secs.. Straight away pour the sugar syrup into 6 inch cake pan and spread it.. Caramel is ready..

Take 5 white bread slices, cut into small pieces.. Make fine grains using food processor...

Take a pan and pour 1 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 cup powdered sugar, mix it and wait it for a boil..

On the other hand, Take a bowl and add 1/2 cup milk, 3 tbsp custard powder and mix it well..

When milk is boiled, gradually add custard mixture and mix well.. And cook on medium flame.. Cook until medium thick.. U hve to stir continuously.. Gradually add bread and mix well... Once u add all the bread, cook another 30-40 secs only...

Pour straight into the pudding container, tap it and level it with spoon and cover it with foil paper and steam it in a vessel on medium heat for 25 mins and cover it..

After 25 mins, keep it outside at room temperature for about 1 hr and refrigerate for 2-3 hrs...
