Wash and soak black gram for whole night.

In a pressure cooker add soaked gram,salt and 1 glass water pressure cook for about 4to 5 whistle.

In a kadai add butter when hot add Asafoetida and cumin seeds cracked properly now and spices and boiled gram now cook 5 minutes. After it add chopped tomatoes,onion,boiled potato,green chilli and ginger

Mix properly garnish with fresh coriander and serve yummy chat is ready for serve.
