Chocolate whole wheat pancakes (eggless)

In a mixing bowl first take 1 cup whole wheat flour. if the wheat flour is ground in a mill, then do sieve the flour once or twice before using.

Add pinch of salt, 3 tsp sugar.

Add 1 tsp baking powder and 1/4 tsp baking soda.

Add 1/4 cup choco powder.

With a wired whisk mix all the dry ingredients very well. Keep aside.

Now add luckwarm milk and 2 tsp refined oil/ or melted butter.

Then add this mixture to the dry ingredients in the bowl. Mix it well.

Break lumps with a whisk and make a smooth batter.

Then heat a heavy pan. spread to oil on the pan.

With a ladle gently pour the batter. Do not spread the batter with the ladle. The batter spreads on its own. On a medium-low flame cook the pancake.

Cook the pancake till you see bubbles forming on the surface.

When the base becomes crisp, gently turn over pancake.

Cook the second side also till. Then remove and serve the pancake

Garnishing pancakes with chocolate syrup and enjoy.
