In a small pot, bring water to a boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat and add the vinegar.

Crack the egg into a small bowl. Using a whisk or spoon, stir the water to create a vortex, then gently pour the egg into the center and let it cook for 3 minutes.

After the cooking time, remove the egg from the water and place it in cold water to stop the cooking process.

After a few seconds, remove the egg and let it dry on a paper towel.

Meanwhile, toast a slice of bread on both sides.

Place the bread on a plate, top it with the oil-packed porcini mushrooms, the poached egg, and season with truffle salt.

TIP: If you can't find truffle salt, you can grate fresh truffle on top; it pairs perfectly with the egg.
