Steps

In a bowl add milk, sugar and yeast. Give it a stir and leave to rise for about 10-12 mins.

Add the flour, eggs and butter to the yeast mixture.

Knead well until dough is soft and elastic about 15-20 mins by hand or 12 mins in a stand mixer.

Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface. Dough should be about 3cm thick

Using a donut cutter or 2 round cookie cutter(1 smaller than the other) or 2 glass (1 smaller than the other), cut out the donuts.

Cover with a piece of cloth and leave to rise 30 mins or until double in size.

Fry the donuts on medium low heat until golden brown.

Place donuts on paper towels to drain excess oil.

Toss the donuts in the cinnamon sugar mixture.

To make the cinnamon sugar. In a bowl add the icing sugar and cinnamon powder and mix well.
Or you can use granulated sugar and cinnamon powder.
