Steps

Soak Chana Dal for 3 hours approximately.

Drain the water. In a mixer jar, add soaked Chana Dal, Fennel seeds, Salt, Garlic and Red chilli powder.

Grind it into a smooth paste.

Transfer the dal mixture into a bowl, and add Onions, Tomatoes, Coriander, Chilli paste, Kasuri Methi and Garam masala. Mix it well.

Again in a grinding jar, add Walnut and a little Butter to it. Gring it into fine powder.

Add the Walnut powder into the Chana Dal mixture and mix well if needed add some water.

Then add Baking soda and Baking Powder to it. Add lemon on top of it so it will react. Mix it nicely. Don't over mix.

Heat oil and fry the bites.

And it's ready. Serve hot.
