Sponge Cake for Layer Cake 🎂

I hope you like the recipe. I'll post the photo very soon. This sponge cake is very delicious. I forgot to mention that the pan I used is 8 inches (20 cm).
Cooking Instructions

First, preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius) for 15 minutes.

Next, place all the eggs in a bowl and beat on high speed with your mixer. Once they are frothy, add the vanilla and continue beating. Gradually add the sugar in a steady stream, beating for about 8 to 10 minutes until the eggs are fluffy and a creamy color.

Then, add the baking powder to the flour and sift them together three times.

Add the flour mixture to the egg mixture in three parts. First, add one part and mix on low speed for 5 seconds, no more.

Add another part and mix for another 5 seconds, and do the same with the third part. (Do not overmix to prevent the cake from deflating.) Then, use a spatula to gently fold the mixture until well combined.

Pour the batter into a greased pan lined with parchment paper. Bake for 40 minutes, and check if it's done by inserting a toothpick; it should come out clean.

If not, continue baking and check every 5 minutes to avoid burning. (Use a toothpick, not a knife, as a knife might damage the cake. That's a tip.)
