Spinach and Bacon Quiche

The 'Best Before' date on the loaf of bread was close, so I decided to make some tasty quiches.
Instead of bread, you can use frozen pie crust. Alternatively, you can pour the quiche filling into a ramekin (small oven-proof dish) without bread. It is nice!
With or without bread crust, your choice! Recipe by Tomomaki0313
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Preheat the oven to 180℃. Meanwhile, cut the spinach and bacon into bite size pieces and thinly slice the onion.
- 2
Cut off the bread crusts if you prefer. Stretch the bread with a rolling pin.
- 3
Mix the ★ egg, milk, and pizza cheese well together in a bowl.
- 4
Heat the butter in the frying pan, stir fry the bacon first, then the onion, and then the spinach, in that order. Season well with salt and pepper. Transfer this to the Step 3 egg mixture and combine.
- 5
Push the bread so that it lines the oven-proof dishes, then pour the Step 4 mixture over it evenly. Bake for 25 minutes and enjoy!
- 6
Why not make french toast with the left over crust? See.

Bacon and Spinach Quiche Bacon and Spinach Quiche
I wanted to serve something like this for brunch. I made mine easily with frozen puff pastry. It's easier if you bake the puff pastry on the day before making the quiche. I recommend using a chunk of cheese; preferably parmigiano reggiano or comte! It really makes it different from when you use store-bought grated cheese or easy melting cheese.
