Ingredients

  1. 3/4 cupplus 1 tablespoon milk (205 ml)
  2. 3 1/2 tablespoonsbutter (50 g)
  3. 2 tablespoonssugar (25 g)
  4. 1 teaspoonyeast (3 g)
  5. 2 1/2 cupsall-purpose flour (300 g)
  6. 3/4 teaspoonsalt (4 g)
  7. (Filling):
  8. 5 tablespoonsbutter (70 g)
  9. 2 tablespoonscinnamon (15 g)
  10. 1/4 cupbrown sugar (40 g)

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Place all ingredients except the yeast into a pot and heat. Add the cubed butter and sugar, then pour in the milk. Stir over low heat until the butter melts, then remove from heat and set aside.

  2. 2

When the milk mixture is lukewarm, add the yeast and mix well. Sift the all-purpose flour and salt, then add to the milk mixture. Stir until the dough no longer sticks to the pot. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise for 1 hour and 20 minutes until doubled in size. While waiting for the dough to rise, prepare the filling by letting the butter soften at room temperature, then mix in the cinnamon and brown sugar until well combined.

  3. 3

After the dough has risen, sprinkle a little flour on the table, then punch down the dough and knead it by hand. Roll the dough out into a rectangle about 10 inches wide by 15 inches high, with a thickness of about 1/4 inch. Evenly spread the prepared filling over the dough. Slowly roll up the dough and cut it into seven pieces.

  4. 4

Place the dough pieces into the air fryer basket, allowing them to undergo a second rise for about 30 minutes. Preheat the air fryer to 355°F (180°C) for 5 minutes, then bake for 45 minutes.

  5. 5

When the time is up, the rolls are ready.
