The chicken is incredibly tender and injected with flavour from a yogurt marinade, and the Butter Chicken sauce is so ridiculously delicious, especially with fresh naan!

Ingredients

1hr
6-8 servings
  1. 1.5 lbschicken breast or thigh (cut into pieces)
  2. Marinade
  3. 1 tspsalt
  4. 1/2 tsppepper
  5. 1 tspturmeric
  6. 1/2 tspchili powder
  7. 1 tspground cumin
  8. 1 tspginger powder
  9. 2 tspgaram masala (look up how to make if you don't have this)
  10. 1/2 cupgreek yogurt or sour cream
  11. 1 tbspminced garlic
  12. 1 tbsplemon juice
  13. After marinating 6 hours or overnight fry in
  14. 1 tbspvegetable oil
  15. 2 tbspbutter
  16. Then add
  17. 1 cuptomato sauce
  18. 1 tbspsugar
  19. 1 tspsalt
  20. Finish with,
  21. 1 cupwhipping cream
  22. 2 tspcornstarch (mixed with a bit of water)

Cooking Instructions

    Marinate 6 hours or over night

    Then pan fry for 5-8 minutes

    Pour tomato sauce, sugar and salt over and cover with lid. Cook for 20 minutes on med-low.

    Then add whipping cream and cornstarch, cook for another 5 minutes.
