My favorite way (and only way I know) to cook and enjoy artichoke 😂😂😂

Cut off the stem closer to the bulb. If possible, cut off the top part a little bit to make it easier to cut in half. Otherwise, cut it from the tender part accross to the top.

Remove the "hairy" part until it's fully clean. To prevent it from turning brownish, keep it in the salted water after cleaning it. Rinse it with water later before seasoning

Season with salt, pepper and oilve oil as even as possible. Then put smashed garlic and butter in the open heart. Heart of the artichoke is near the bottom part. Wrapped in aluminium foil.
Then baked in the preheated oven. I used 210C for 1 hour-ish. The second time I made it, I used 220C for 50 minutes.
Once done, open and enjoy the tender artichoke with its nutty garlicy taste 😋
