Churros

Churros are fried dough pastry originated in Spain as well as Mexico. They are very popular in US too. Traditional Churros come in a variety of shapes and sizes but the most common are stick and loops. They are commonly consumed as a snack or breakfast and sold at cafes, street vendor carts. Churros are drizzled with honey or sprinkled with sugar after frying in Spain , while sprinkled cinnamon sugar is the only difference between Spanish Churros and and Maxican Churros. Churros are commonly served with chocolate sauce and it's tastes amazing with it. It tastes best warm.

In a bowl, add flour,salt and baking powder and mix. Add oil. Add hot water gradually in it and combine it into a thick and gummy batter.

Transfer the dough into a piping bag with star nozzle. Heat oil.

Once the oil is hot,turn the flame to medium. Now carefully pipe the dough into oil and snip with scissors.

Deep fry it until it turns golden and crispy. Flip and roll occasionally so it fries properly from.all the sides.

Remove it with slotted spoon, drain excess oil and place it in a tissue lined plate. Roll it in sugar or cinnamon sugar.

Serve warm or hot with chocolate sauce.
