White yam and tomato sauce

Peel and dice the yam. Wash the diced yam into a clean pot, add enough water and a pinch of salt and cook till it’s done.

Wash the fresh tomatoes with clean water and salt

Slice the washed fresh tomatoes into a clean frying pan or pot and cook on medium heat till the water dries out

Add groundnut oil & onions and fry on a medium heat for a while
- 5
Then add the salt, pepper and spices and cook for a minute or two….

Bring it down from the heat and the food is ready
- 7
Serve with any chilled drink of your choice…. Served mine with tiger nut drink😋
