Ingredients

Serves 4 servings
  1. 50-70 gunsweetened peanut butter
  2. 1 cupsoy milk (about 250 ml)
  3. 1 cupwater (about 250 ml)
  4. 1/3 cuppotato starch (about 50-60g)
  5. ■ Sauce
  6. 2 tablespoonsmirin
  7. 2 tablespoonssoy sauce
  8. 1 tablespoonsugar

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Put all the ingredients in a pot and dissolve well. (If you add peanut butter directly to cold water or soy milk, it will harden, so gradually add water to thin it out before mixing it with the rest.)

  2. 2

Place the pot on the stove and heat while stirring constantly. Once it starts to thicken, quickly mix until smooth.

  3. 3

When it starts to bubble, pour it into a wet mold, smooth the surface, and place it in a bowl filled with water to cool. Then refrigerate.

  4. 4

    ■ How to make the sauce
Put the mirin in a small pot and bring to a boil, then add soy sauce and sugar and simmer until thickened.
