Cooking Instructions
- 1
Cream the butter, which has been brought to room temperature.
- 2
Mix the creamed butter with granulated sugar, milk, almond flour, and salt.
- 3
Add Edam cheese powder, sifted flour, and cornstarch to the mixture, and mix by pressing the flour into the dough.
- 4
Form the dough into a single mass, roll it out into a square about 1/16 inch thick on a sheet of plastic wrap, and let it rest in the refrigerator.
- 5
After resting in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, cut the firm dough into 1/5 inch wide strips, then cut again into bite-sized pieces about 1 inch wide.
- 6
If the dough is difficult to handle, you can freeze it until it's very firm before cutting. In fact, this might be easier. Haha.
- 7
Since the cookies tend to spread, space them out on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 320°F until golden brown, about 15 minutes.

I had some frozen cheese, so when a guest came to visit, I just made these very quickly. You don't need to leave the dough to rest in the fridge, so when you get used to it, you can have these in the oven in five minutes. They will be sweet with sugar and savoury with salt. Both make good snacks, and both are popular with guests when I serve them. Recipe by mini cookpad.japan -

Crispy! And crunchy.I thought up a cookie to suit my tastes. It's okay even if it browns. Bake it to taste. The white cookies are lightly flavored, but browned cookies are fragrant. If you don't like a powdery taste, I suggest baking it to crispy cookies.Bake so that the moisture in the center evaporates. If it's subtle, then place in the warm oven after baking for a while. Recipe by kkomugi cookpad.japan -
Crispy Chocolate Cookies Crispy Chocolate Cookies
I created this because my kids asked me to make chocolate cookies. Originally I was planning to make snowball cookies with vegetable oil, but I thought I should make different cookies once in a while. So I made cookies with margarine and vegetable oil I uploaded this recipe because these turned to be unexpectedly crispy. The dough doesn't need to come together. When it's crumbly, it's ready. Please do not knead the dough to bring together. Recipe by Lesser Panda cookpad.japan -

I uploaded this recipe because I baked these cookies as a present for my friend who loves chocolate. When I made the dough with cocoa powder, I used 90 g of cake flour and 12 g of cocoa powder. When you cut the dough, if it breaks apart because the knife is touching the chocolate chips, just fix the shapes a little bit by hand. Alternatively, you can cut out shapes with cookie cutters. Recipe by nyonta cookpad.japan -
Crispy Egg Cookies Crispy Egg Cookies
I have been making these cookies for a long time. You don't need to sift the cake flour, but if you're using cocoa powder, sift them together.Cookies taste better when you rest the dough, but if you don't have time, omit the step. You can make cookies even with 1 beaten egg. Using only egg yolks makes the cookies more moist. Recipe by Shihosuke cookpad.japan -

These cheesy little nuggets, popular in the U.S. south, are a great anytime snack, but they're especially delicious with your favorite bourbon cocktail. The frozen dough logs also make a nice hostess gift, along with the printed recipe and a bag of pecans. When completely cooled, store in airtight container (I use zip-top freezer bag). They're tastier the day after baking, and they'd ship well. Next time I'm going to try minced jalapeño in the dough and topped with bacon! Maggie Conlon
