Drumsticks are to be washed with clean water and cut into pieces.

Boil water in a pot, add pieces of drumsticks and salt and cook the sticks to 80%.

After that, remove the water and keep this pieces aside.

Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds and asafoetida to it.

Then add the boiled sticks and their water and let it cook for two minutes.

Now add red chilli powder, turmeric and salt according to taste and mix well.

This prepared flour is to be added to the drumstick curry.

Mix properly and let this vegetable cook for 2 to 3 minutes so that the drumstick masala curry is ready.

Served hot with roti, rice, salad and buttermilk.
