Easy to cook, and tasty to eat. Potato and me and could never be friends but this one allows us to atleast meet 🙏
This ones a smash. Its good. So you should try it.
Steps
- 1
Peel the potato. Cut it into 4 pieces. Boil them for an hour.
- 2
Grate or mash your large boiled potato into a bowl for a smoother texture.
- 3
Then let it cool down. (Important)
- 4
Once it has cooled down, you can start adding all the ingredients and mix well. (Add only 1 tbsp cornstarch first)
- 5
Mix well, and if you think the batter is too sticky, add another tbsp of cornstarch
- 6
Rub a generous amount of cooking oil on your palms and fingers. Take some dough and shape your patties.
- 7
Make a small pea-sized one, too, for testing
- 8
Heat up the pan. WE ARE NOT DEEP FRYING THEM JUST SHALLOW FRY!!
- 9
Drop the pea-sized patty into the pan, look how it reacts. If it fluffs up. Then you know it's time.
- 10
Start frying your patties; don't crowd them too much. Fry until brown.
