Ingredients

  • 1 cupcabbage (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 cupcarrot (grated)
  • 1/4 cupcapsicum (finely chopped)
  • 2 tbspcornflour
  • 2 tbspall-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsSalt
  • 1/2 tspBlack pepper
  • 1 tbspgarlic (chopped) 1 tbsp ginger (chopped)
  • 2–3 green chilies
  • 1onion 1–2 tbsp
  • 1–2 tbsp soy sauce1 tbsp chili sauce1 tbsp tomato ketchup1 tsp vinegar1 tsp sugar

Steps

  1. 1

    Step 1: Prepare Balls
    Mix all veggies with cornflour, flour, salt, and pepper.
    Shape into small balls and deep fry till golden and crispy.

    Step 2: Make Sauce
    Heat oil, sauté garlic, ginger, and chilies.
    Add onions and cook slightly crunchy.
    Add soy sauce, chili sauce, ketchup, vinegar, sugar, and pepper.

  3. 3

    Step 3: Combine
    Add fried Manchurian balls to the sauce and toss well.
    Garnish with onion rings, coriander, and lemon.

Tips

*Don’t add water in the balls; veggies release moisture.
*Keep sauce slightly thick for street-style taste.
*Add cornflour slurry if you want more gravy.
*Serve immediately to keep balls crispy.
