Ingredients

  1. 4medium (chopped) Tomato
  2. 2 tbspOil
  3. 1/2 tspKalonji (nigella seeds)
  4. 1/4 tspMethi seeds (fenugreek)
  5. 1/2 tspSaunf (fennel seeds)
  6. 1 tsp(adjust to taste) Salt
  7. 1 tspCoriander powder
  8. 1/2 tspTurmeric powder
  9. 1/4 tspGaram masala
  10. 1 tbspJaggery
  11. 2 tbsp(chopped) Fresh coriander leaves

Steps

25 minute
  1. 1

    Heat oil in a pan. Add kalonji, methi, and saunf for tempering.

    Add chopped tomatoes and salt. Cook on low heat until tomatoes soften.

    Add coriander powder, turmeric, and garam masala. Mix well.

    Add jaggery for sweetness. Stir until melted and combined.

    Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve.

Tips

Adjust the spices according to your taste preference, and feel free to add more jaggery for extra sweetness.
