Ingredients

3-serving
  1. 3/4 cupBengal gram -
  2. 2onion -
  3. - 2 clovesgarlic - 3
  4. 1tomato -
  5. 2 tspschilly powder -
  6. 1 and half tspcoriander powder -
  7. 1/2 tspgaram masala -
  8. as requiredsalt -
  9. mustard seeds chilly and red for seasoning

  1. 1

    First presurre cook the Bengal Gram till it is properly cooked. Thinly slice onion. Heat a pan with some oil and add onion along with thinly sliced garlic cloves and stir well.

  2. 2

    Cook till onion is almost brown. Now add chilly powder, coriander powder,  salt and garam masala. Mix it well with the onion for 2 minutes.

  3. 3

    Add tomato and cook for 4 minutes till tomato is little mushy. Now let it cool for sometime. After that grind this onion tomato mixture in a mixie.

  4. 4

    Now add the grinded mixture to the pan and when it boils, add the cooked bengal gram to it. Add water as required. Check for salt.

  5. 5

    Lastly season the curry with mustard seeds and red chilly.
