Steps
- 1
In a thick pan bring the water to a boil and add in the condensed milk while stirring continuously
- 2
Add in the saffron strands
- 3
Slowly bring to a boil while stirring.
- 4
Turn off the flame and set aside to cool
- 5
Cut the bread slices into the desired shape (triangles and circles seem to be the fave, I stick to triangles)
- 6
Toast the bread crisp on both sides after applying a generous helping of butter
- 7
Arrange the toasted slices in a container of your choice, in such a manner that the condensed milk mixture can cover it
- 8
Pour the condensed milk mix over the bread slices to just about cover the slices
- 9
Keep in fridge to chill for 30 minutes
- 10
Serve and amaze!!
