Steps

Cut the matumbo into small pieces.

Wash then put to boil for 3 hours. It should ne soft after 3 hours.

Then drain off excess matumbo broth.

Put the matumbo in a sufuria and add on the chopped onions, fry till soft then add in the diced hoho. Mix.

Cut the tomatoes into tiny pieces and add in the cooking matumbo. Add more oil if nnecessary.

Stir, add in a little amount of water and salt then cook for a few minutes.

Then serve with either rice or ugali.
