Ingredients

20 mins
  • 100 gramsdark chocolate
  • 1 largeeggs
  • 1 largeegg yolk
  • 3 tbspcaster sugar
  • 75 gramsunsalted butter
  • 100 gramstoasted and chopped hazelnuts and almonds
  • 125 gramsamaretti biscuits

Steps

  1. 1

    Melt the chocolate and leave to cool for a few mins.

  2. 2

    Whisk the egg and yolk with the sugar until thick and foamy.

  3. 3

    Melt the butter in a pan and when it bubbles add the egg mixture and whisk.

  4. 4

    Mix in the chocolate and nuts and then crush the biscuits and add to the mixture.

  5. 5

    Pour the mixture into a tin and chill overnight. Take out and dust with icing sugar.
