Ingredients

10 -15mins
6servings
  • 1 cupsugar
  • 1 cupbasmati rice
  • 1/2 cupwater
  • 2 cupmilk
  • 2 tbspghee
  • 1/4coconut flakes
  • 2 tspdry fruits
  • 1/2 tspCardamom powder
  • Cherries for garnishing
  • Food colors (optional)

Steps

10 -15mins
  1. 1

    Wash and Soak rice for 15mins.

  2. 2

    Heat ghee in a pressure cooker.Add rice and saute for 5 mins in high flame.

  3. 3

    Now add the rest of the ingredients. Mix it.

  4. 4

    When the mixture comes to a boil, close the lid of the pressure cooker and cook till one whistle.

  5. 5

    Garnish with cherries.
