Coconut Fritters

This is a very famous recipe of Bengal which is popularly known as "Narkel'er Bora". It is generally served with steamed rice or khichdi or you may have it as a snack as well. You will get a nice flavour of coconut along with the coriander leaves and green chillies. The rice flour gives a nice crunchy outer covering to the fritters along with a soft bed of coconut from inside.

In a bowl, mix the grated coconut, rice flour, besan, green chillies paste, salt, and coriander leaves.

If it is too moist then you may add some more besan into it.

Mix them very well and make small balls out of it and give it the shape of fritters.

Heat some oil in a pan and make the oil smoking hot.

Simmer the flame and add the fritters.

Deep fry them in medium flame so that it gets cooked from inside.

Wait until they are golden brown in colour.

Remove it from the flame and serve hot.
