This recipe gives a real defination of a well cooked medium rare steak crunchy on the outside and juicy and soft on the inside.

Cut steak into 1 inch thickness slices. Season with salt and black pepper.

In a pan on high heat add a tbs oil, once the oil is hot place beef steak on pan let it sear for 5 min add a tbs butter halfway the 5 min. Then turn to sear the other side 5min also. basting well with the mixture of oil butter and juices from steak in the pan.

Serve hot
