Boil the potatoes... peel off the skin...set aside...

Take a Kadhai...add 1tbsp of oil/ghee...when the oil gets hot, add cumin seeds..let them splutter...now add the tomatoes and the masalas and ginger paste...mix well and fry till oil separates....add the boiled potatoes...mix well... add 2tbsp of water...again mix well and let it simmer for 2to 3minutes...then turn off the gas...serve hot with paranthas/rotis...
