We make lots of rice variations,some are fried rice, vegetable rice, mint rice, sweet rice etc . There are so many methods to make it . Some are made by cooking , some are made after cooking.Everyone has different method. I didn’t like to make juice of palak but still i decided to make experiment first time.

Ingredients

3 servings
  • 1 bowlrice
  • 1/2 bowlgreen moong dal
  • 1 bowlgreen palak [well chopped]
  • 2 tbspcoriander [well chopped]
  • 2-3green chillies
  • 1/2 tbspginger
  • 3-4garlic flakes
  • 1 tbspsalt
  • 1 tbspcumin powder
  • 1/2 tbspgaram masala
  • 1/2 bowloil
  • 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  • 1/2 ltrwater

Steps

  1. 1

    Take the green palak wash it with clean water and keep a side to drain water.

    Take the coriander wash it and keep aside to drain it.

    Chop the palak & coriander & add to mixture jar to make it’s juice. Add green chilli & ginger, garlic flakes along with it.
    Subjis

    : Add 2 cup water in the mixture jar & make it’s juice.

    Take 1 bowl of rice & 1/2 bowl moong dal, wash it & keep aside to drain water.
    Now keep the cooker on the gas,pour oil to it, add cumin seeds, mustard seeds & wait to splutter it.
    Now pour slowly green juice to it and add sufficient water to cook it.
    Now add turmeric powder, salt, cumin powder, garam masala and wait for boil.

    Now add washed rice & moong dal to it & keep the lid of cooker tight.
    Keep the flame of gas slow.
    Now take 3 to 4 whistles of cooker.
    Wait to cool the cooker & serve it now.
