5 stripsbacon
1onion, chopped
1 cupbrown sugar
1 cupwater
1 cupketchup
4 canswhole green beans, drained

Fry bacon in a skillet until crisp. Remove from grease. Saute onion in grease until golden. Add brown sugar, water and ketchup to skillet. Bring mixture to a boil.

Preheat oven to 325° F.

Add green beans to a 13"x 9" baking dish. Pour skillet mixture over the green beans. Crumble bacon and sprinkle on top.

Bake uncovered in oven for 2-3 hours.
