whole chicken breast or 2 chicken thighs (boneless & skinless) - cut in small cube • water • garlic, • large onion • ginger • Chicken stock (optional) • yellow egg noodle • Few stalks of pokchoy or spinach • Salt and pepper • Cooking oil preferrably vegetable oil

Cooked rice (about 1 to 1.5 cups per bento) • Nori seaweed • eggs (use the yolk) • Sliced Carrot (for window background) • Cheese slice/ cooked egg white slice (for window center) • Watermelon (cut into heart shapes) Optional: additional fruits or veggies for balance

Pasta of your choice • Milk • Cheese of your choice (i use cream cheese) • garlic minced • Tomato puree • Chicken • Chopped spinach
