all-purpose flour (about 320 grams) • milk (120 ml) • large egg • unsalted butter (20 grams) • sugar for the original recipe, but I personally double it (50 grams or 100 grams) • vanilla sugar or 1 vanilla bean • active dry yeast • salt • Orange blossom extract, almond extract, or vanilla extract
