Ingredients

  • 8 cupsflour
  • 6 tbspbutter
  • 6 tbspsugar
  • 2 tspcinnamon powder
  • 1egg
  • 1 1/2warm water
  • 1tbpn yest
  • Oil for fraying
  • Sugar with cinnamon for coating

Steps

  1. 1

    In a mixing bowl add all the ingredients and mix well to form a soft dough

  2. 2

    Roll out and cut the doughnuts arrange on a floured tray and cover to rise for 30min

  3. 3

    Heat oil in a pan and fry till golden brown.

  4. 4

    Coat with sugar and cinnamon while it's still hot and serve warm or cold.
