Always wanted to try my hand at homemade beef jerky! Finally got my hands on a dehydrator. I am a fan of beef jerky but also of natural ingredients and less chemicals. I was very happy with this, it was delicious and gone VERY fast! I found out we could freeze this, but by the time I did there was NONE left! I will definitely have to make more next time! I like to use coconut oil with my Asian cooking, though vegetable oil works well too. The word teriyaki means "shiny and grilled". The sauce should be clear with no soy or sesame added. I tend to like my meat on the rare side so I chose a thicker steak. The meat will cook quick so if you don't like a lot of pink go with the 1/2 - 1 inch thick steaks. Tallior -

My fiancée and I started dieting. We wanted to keep the carbs down so we had to make our own jerky, without sugar. This recipe is not spicy, at all. She can't handle heat. Jarrod Milstead -
Spicy Beef Jerky Spicy Beef Jerky
This Spicy Beef Jerky is packed with bold flavors and inspired by my love for Sichuan spices. The mix of numbing peppercorns, smoky chili flakes, and savory goodness makes it a favorite snack. I love it fresh out of the dehydrator, still warm and chewy. It’s perfect for road trips or anytime I want a flavorful, protein-packed bite! Enjoy! Dandanyummyfood
