Ingredients

  1. pie
  2. 4 cupsflour
  3. 1 cupwater
  4. 250 gbutter
  5. Halfteaspoon baking powder
  6. Halfteaspoon salt
  7. 2eggs
  8. filling
  9. 1/2 kgMinced meat
  10. 1Chopped onion
  11. 3Chopped potatoes
  12. Seasoning
  13. 1 tablespoonGinger and garlic paste
  14. 1 tablespoonflour

Cooking Instructions

    In a large bowl, add the dry ingredients and mix, then add the butter and mix until crumb like.

    Add in the 1 and half egg in the mixture.

    Add water and mix until you have a smooth dough. Cover it and allow it to rest for 30 minutes

    Add oil to your heated pan,add in onion, ginger&garlic paste and stir until it’s translucent, then add in the minced meat and stir until brown in color, add in half cup of water then add the chopped potatoes and cover the pot for 5 minutes.

    In a small bowl, add the flour,water &mix. Add the flour mixture in the meat and stir for 1 minutes & take off the heat.

    Roll out the dough and use a circle cutter to cut it into your desired size, add 1 tablespoon of the cooked meat and close the pie, use a fork to close the edges.

    Arrange the meat pies in an oven tray and brush them with the remaining half egg and bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
