Water melon rice

Soak your rice for 30 mins

Blended your water melon with a little water
- 3
Flame your pan and add oil
- 4
Add cumin and raisins and cook for a few seconds then add the rice and mix well

Add water melon water plus salt and stir well. Cover tightly and lower the flame.

Simmer your rice for 20 mins or until cooked
- 7
Put off the flame and let the rice sit covered for 5 mins before serving.
- 8
Serve with your favourite stew.
