During ganpati festival, ukadiche modak is a must sweet in Maharashtra. Rice flour ukad itself doesn't have any taste. After making modak, if there is any ukad left, nivagrya can be made. It prevents wastage of food and we get a delicious side dish made from leftover ukad.
Some people love this dish so much that they intentionally make more rice flour ukad so that they can enjoy this yummy dish.

Bhapa Doi is a traditional Bengali dessert recipe. It is Eggless dessert. Traditionally, the sweetened yogurt is steamed. Bhapa Doi is Hung curd or Greek Yogurt blended with milk and condensed milk and Baked with a water bath in the oven or steamed on the stove top. It is a must have sweet in the Bengali weddings and special occasions. Steps

Add rice flour, Salt in hot water

Add green chillies, coriander leaves and cumin seeds

Knead well once cools to handle the dough

Take lemon size ball and flatten it in any shape you like

Put in steamer, and cook for 10/15 min till done then turn off the gas open the steamer after 5 min, serve nivagrya with bhapa doi or dahi.

For bhapa dahi. Mix all ingredients

Take all ingredients in big mixing bowl. Mix the well.
Now,
Take any heat-safe pot. Place the yogurt mixture in it. Cover it with foil.
Boil water in a steamer. Place the foil Covered Ramekins or any pot in it.
Cover it. Cook on high flame for about 12 to 15 minutes.
Insert a toothpick into the pudding. It should emerge clean.
Let it cools down completely and refrigerate it for at least 1 hour.after refrigerate it mix and make smooth. - 8
Serve with nivagrya, enjoy.
