Ingredients

20 pieces
  • (1) Pastry
  • 1. Unsalted butter 150 g
  • 2. Powdered sugar 30 g (sifted)
  • 3. Egg 1
  • 4. Brown sugar 20 g
  • 5. Cake flour 230 g (sifted)
  • 6. Whole milk powder 30 g
  • 7. Salt 2 g
  • (If using salted butter, omit the salt)
  • (2) Filling
  • 1. Pineapple filling 360 g
  • (3) Mold
  • 4.5* 4.5 * 1.6 = 40 g

Steps

  1. 1

    Pastry - Use a mixer to blend the butter and powdered sugar until smooth. Gradually add the egg and brown sugar. Finally, add the cake flour, milk powder, and salt, mixing until a dough forms with no visible flour. Chill for 30 minutes, then divide into 20 portions, each weighing 24 g.

  2. 2

    Filling - Divide into 20 portions, each weighing 16 g.

  3. 3

    Wrap the filling with the pastry, roll into a ball, and press into the mold. Be careful not to press too hard to avoid breaking the pastry. Bake at 340°F (170°C) for 30 minutes, flipping halfway through (about 15-20 minutes) to continue baking. (Oven temperatures may vary)
