Ingredients

4 servings
  • 2 Cupswheat flour
  • 2 tablespoonsrava (sooji)
  • 2Medium size boiled and grated potato
  • 2 tablespoonsdried fenugreek leaves (methi)
  • 2green chillies chopped
  • 1 Inchgrated ginger
  • to tasteSalt according
  • to tasteRed chilli powder according
  • as requiredOil for frying

Steps

    Take potatoes boil it peel it and grate it and keep aside.

  2. 2

    In a bowl take wheat flour, rava, methi, salt, chilli powder, boiled grated potatoes, grated ginger, chopped green chillies and a tablespoon of oil and mix well.

  3. 3

    Add little bit of water and knead the dough nicely. Once the dough is done keep it aside for 20 minutes.

  4. 4

    Heat oil in a pan or kadhai. Make small balls of the dough and roll them into flat puri.

  5. 5

    Deep fry puri in hot oil and repeat the same steps with rest of puris

  6. 6

    Serve it with a hot cup of tea or coffee.
