Peel,wash and cut the sweet potatoes.

Put the sweet potatoes to boil in 1 cup water.on medium heat,boil for 5-8 mins until soft

When soft,add in 1 cup coconut milk(thick preferred), cardamon powder and the sugar if desired.mix and let it cook for 2 minutes.dont cover

Put the cornflour in the remaining one cup of coconut milk and stir well.pour this into the pot of the sweet potatoes and mix.After 1-2 minutes,its ready to serve.
