Steps
- 1
Cut Onion in half and remove outer brown layers and tops.. Leaving root part intact.
- 2
Carefully slice down the Onion, almost to the roots, but not quite, in thin slices.
- 3
Now cut crosswise to these, again as thinly as you can. You now have fine- diced Onions!
- 4
Add to boiled Potatoes and mix well
- 5
Add Pepper and beaten egg and combine until smooth.Add Chives and mix again. Squash into egg rings or make patties by hand.
- 6
Fry in a little oil until nice and brown on both sides. Serve with whatever you wish. Or cool down, then freeze to enjoy via microwave later!
