Steps

Combine flour, salt and sugar in a bowl and add the yeast.

Add the lukewarm water and mix into soft dough.

Transfer to a floured surface and knead for 10-15 minutes. Place back into the bowl, cover with a cloth or clean cling wrap and leave in a warm place to rise until the dough has doubled in size.

Heat the oil in a pot over a medium-high heat.

Divide the dough into balls and fry until golden brown and cooked through.
