Wash the dal properly & put it in the cooker for 2 whistles.

Heat oil in a pan with mustard & cumin seeds, when aroma emanates add all the masala & tomatoes. Cook till they become mushy.

Open the lid of cooker & put the cooked masala in it. Mix well. Serve hot with rice.
