Ingredients

15 - 20 minutes
5 servings
  1. 1 cupSweet Potato (Boiled and mashed
  2. 2 tbspAll Purpose flour (Maida)
  3. 2 tbspDRY FRUITS powder
  4. 1 cupSugar for making sugar syrup
  5. 2 cupwater for making sugar syrup
  6. Ghee for frying the Gulabjamuns
  7. 1/2 tspCardamom powder
  8. 1 tspRose water
  9. 12-15threads Saffron

Steps

15 - 20 minutes
  1. 1

    Take a vessel add water and sugar and make the sugar syrup. Then switch off the flame and add saffron, Rose water, and cardamom powder to it and keep it aside.

    Take a mixing bowl add Mashed sweet potatoes then add dry fruits powder, All purpose flour (Maida), little salt and make it a dough.

    Make small balls out of the dough and fry the Gulabjamuns in a low flame by stirring continuously till it attains gulabjamun colour.

    Then add the fried Gulabjamuns into the pre-prepared sugar syrup.

    Garnish it with pistachios and almonds and serve.
