Ingredients

  1. as needed all purpose flour or maida
  2. 1 cuppowdered sugar
  3. 1 cupcurd
  4. 1 tspbaking powder
  5. 1/2 tspbaking soda
  6. 1/2 cuptutti fruiti
  7. 1/2 cupwhite oil or butter
  8. 1 tspvanilla essence
  9. 1 pinchsalt
  10. 2 tbspwater

    At first take sugar, curd, baking powder and baking soda in a mixing bowl. Mix it thoroughly. Make sure there is no lump in the batter. Keep it aside for 10 mins to form bubble.

    Meanwhile prepare the cake tin. Grease the cake tin with oil and put butter paper into cake tin. In another bowl take 1 tsp maida and tutti fruiti and mix it.

    After 10 mins add oil, salt and vanilla essence into curd batter and mixed it well. Now sieve all purpose flour and gradually mix it with curd batter. Mix well using cut and fold method. Add water to form desire consistency batter. Add tutti fruiti and give it a quick mix. Do not over beat the batter.

    Transfer the cake batter into the cake tin. Level up the batter and pat tray 2-3 times to remove the air incorporated into the batter.

    Preheat the oven at 180 degree celcius or 350 degree fahrenheit. Place the cake tin into preheated oven. Bake it for 35-40 mins. After 40 mins take it out from oven and check it with a tooth pick. Finally serve the cake with a cup of tea or coffee.
