Peas Pulao In Pressure Cooker

Heat oil in the pressure cooker. Add the cumin seeds and whole garam masala and saute for a few minutes. Now add the chopped onions and cook till translucent. Add haldi, garam masala and veg stock cube. Now add the green chillies, peas and red chilli powder. Mix well. Saute till the peas are shiny.

Wash and add the rice. Fry the rice till any water in it water dries up. Add 2 and 1/4 cup of water. Adjust the salt as the stock cube already has salt in it. Cover the lid and cook for one whistle on high flame. Switch off and let it sit till all the pressure releases. Open and give it a good mix. Enjoy!
