Wash masoor dal and soak for 15 mins.

Heat oil in a cooker and fry sliced onions till golden. Then add all the dry masala and salt and cook for 4-5 mins on medium flame... Add a little water and cook till oil leaves sides.

Then add the sliced tomato and masoor dal and stir for 2 mins. Add water and cook till 2 whistles. Let it cool and open lid.

Heat a pan and fry egg and cut in big pieces. Serve this egg pieces along with the cooked dal.

Garnish some chopped coriander and green chilli and serve hot with roti or rice
