Ingredients

  • 1 cupsemolina(rava-suji)
  • as neededButtermilk
  • 2 tbspchilli ginger paste
  • to tasteSalt
  • As neededOil to grease
  • 1/2 tspsoda/eno
  • PinchCoriander chopped red chilli powder to garnish

Steps

  1. 1

    First of all make semolina mix well with yoghurt or buttermilk to make batter consistency and give it rest for 2 hours.now add chilli ginger paste salt little oil eno or soda into batter and mix well and pour into pre greased tray to go for steaming.

    Put this trays in preheated steamer and let it heat till 15 minutes on medium high flame.u can check if dhoklas are ready by inserting toothpick if it comes smoothly with no dhokla attached ur dhoklas are ready finally demould it and garnish with coriander leaves and chilli powder and serve with ur favourite sauces.
