Ingredients

6 servings
  1. 200 gramsshalgum/ turnip
  2. 3grinded onions
  3. 1/2 cuptomato paste
  4. 1 tspsalt
  5. 1/4 tspred chilli powder
  6. 1/3 tspturmeric powder
  7. 1 glasswater
  8. 1 tbspoil

Steps

15 minutes
  1. 1

    Peel & cut the shalgum in 4 pieces.

  2. 2

    Add oil in a cooker with onions, cook till they become translucent. add tomato paste & all the masala. Cook till all mix-up.

  3. 3

    Add shalgum with 1 cup of water. Give 2 whistles.

  4. 4

    Serve hot.
